Abby Lee Miller Reacts to First Episode of Dance Moms

Abby Lee Miller is an American dance instructor, choreographer and reality television personality who has most recently teased a few projects in development. But recently, she looks back on what started it all.

Miller has grown to almost half a million subscribers on YouTube, where she shares stories that have captivated millions of views. She is known for her blunt critiques on her hit reality series Dance Moms. Now she's telling her side of the story, every week on YouTube. But with what seems like much maturity and respect; and a bit of sass of course. Recently she reacted to the first episode of her series Dance Moms and it has already hit 750K+ views in 3 short weeks.

Miller grew up around dance in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, a Pittsburgh suburb, studying under her mother's direction at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. In 1980, at age 14, Miller was given the responsibility for choreographing and coaching for one of her mother's dance competition teams. Miller eventually took over the studio in 1995 and renamed it.

The now iconic dance studio, Abby Lee Dance Company "ALDC" has been highly awarded in the competition circuit; from State, Regional, and National titles year after year. Some of her most notable students became household names, after appearing on her reality television series "Dance Moms". She went on to usher in a franchise of spinoffs including: Dance Moms Miami, Dance Twins, Raising Asia, Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and Abby’s Studio Rescue - where she served as Executive Producer.

One of the slated projects in development will be a documentary miniseries taking on some of the most controversial topics around Miller's brand, and the real story around how it all went down. One topic Miller will be talking about is the day she was sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison.
