'Dance Moms' Choreographer Talks Viral "Boss Ladies" Dance

The hip-hop choreographer, Guy Groove, dishes on all the details behind his viral dance "Boss Ladies" on the hit television show Dance Moms.



Guy Amir, more commonly known as Guy Groove, is a Los Angeles based choreographer, dancer and creative director.

He received his BFA from the University of Arizona in 2012, then moved to Los Angeles. He can be seen in TV shows like The Middle, The Goldbergs, and Crazy Ex Girlfriend. But what many people don't know, is that Guy also appeared in Lifetime’s show Dance Moms Season 6, 7, 8 where he choreographed multiple performances, most notably 'Boss Ladies'.

Recently, Guy sat down to talk the most viral dance he's choreographed to date. Guy’s dance class has a cult-like following, teaching at the top dance studios in Los Angeles including Millennium Dance Complex, Playground LA, and Mihran K. Studios. So when he decided to open up about the movement behind 'Boss Ladies', fans were very interested.
