Dancers and stars of the hit Brandon TV reality tv series Mad House, Savoy Bailey and David Warren are continuing their on-screen feud off the air.
The duo seemed like they had a growing friendship at the start of the season, but that quickly fizzled once the competition intensified and emotions boiled over.
One specific challenge both dancers reference is one that hasn't been shown on the series yet. Famous creative director, Richy Jackson, had them choreograph for one another and show them how they move and interpret music.
Bailey admitted in an interview with Front Page Pop and doubled down in an appearance on Abby Lee Millers, Leave It on the Dance Floor podcast, that she was nervous for the challenge because she does not consider herself a choreographer, but merely a dancer. She did say, however, that she wished the challenge was shown. When asking one of the producers why it wasn't, Joel Parent, senior producer from the series, told us "it will be released soon."
The network has been teasing extended episodes at the beginning of this year and it's clear we are all ready to get into it.
Bailey said she was "proud of [herself]" for choreographing what she thought was a good dance. Then Jackson crowned her the “best dancer” of the challenge, putting further attention on an already fan favorite housemember.
She also claims, "David messed up most of his dance."
Warren responded in an interview with Front Page Pop, that he was not happy with how the situation was being portrayed. He admits he messed up a few steps around the end of his routine, but it wasn’t as big of a deal as she made it out to be. And then he claims, "she was not a good choreographer."
This is the unapologetic attitude fans loved to hate during his first season in the Mad House. He continued.
“Nobody knows the choreography except the dancer and the choreographer,” he says. “So I did the most professional thing and kept going. And she made it seem like it was the whole dance, when in reality it was two moves… because I did not like them."
Warren is full of spice, and over time, fans really began to love him.
"I know she claims ‘oh my God I’m not a choreographer’ and stuff like that," he told me, "I know, I can tell,” Warren continues.
“I don’t like these two moves and they don’t make sense, and you choreographed this, but I’m gonna make it look like something,” Warren admitted.
Phew. It doesn't look like there is any end in sight. Most recently, Warren posted on his Instagram story that he blocked Bailey online. Bailey has yet to comment on Warren's recent interview. Bailey is set to return in the 2nd season of Mad House, while Warren is being eyed for a spot on Cathy Nesbitt-Stein's new pro Candy Apples team. Yep, this is getting good.
Whose side are you on? Do you commend Bailey for making it work as someone who admittadly isn't a choreographer, or is Warren right for making the dance his own when his fate laid in the hands of someone incapable?
