A Real Housewives all-stars spinoff is in the works.
Over a year after Bravo announced that there was an untitled Real Housewives mashup in-the-works, it is being revealed that the new series will likely follow several past and present cast members of the franchise as they embark on a girls’ trip.
Are we even ready?
According to a February 25 report from Entertainment Tonight, Bravo has been considering the idea of a Real Housewives spinoff for some time. So, after Peacock was launched as NBCUniversal’s streaming service in July 2020, the network decided the platform would be perfect for the concept and began contacting women of the franchise in hopes of creating the perfect ensemble cast to travel together.
“The trips are always the most memorable part of any season of Housewives, so it makes total sense they’d want to do this,” a source explained. “If the women want to do it is another question.”

Who would be in your all-star Housewives cast? How can one person choose? We're probably guessing that's why it took the NBCUniversal team so long to pull the trigger.
The report went on to reveal that the new series will likely be shot in the same format as the currently airing fifth season of Summer House, which filmed for six weeks straight and followed strict provisions to prevent a potential outbreak of COVID-19.
As for future seasons of the Real Housewives spinoff, the outlet said the series could continue year to year with all-new casts traveling to different locations.

In addition to the Real Housewives spinoff, Peacock will also be home to Lisa Vanderpump‘s new spinoff, Vanderpump Dogs, and the upcoming fourth season of The Real Housewives of Miami, which is currently in development.
Earlier this month, a source told Entertainment Tonight that interviews for castmates were being held as another insider revealed that Larsa Pippen, who starred on the debut season of RHOM in 2011, “has been offered a role on The Real Housewives of Miami and is considering it.”
While there has been no official word in regard to which Real Housewives cast members will appear on the upcoming spinoff, an online report shared earlier this week suggested the first season would include:
New Jersey: Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga
Beverly Hills: Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna
Atlanta: Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore
New York: Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan
The start to the iconic Housewives franchise began with The Real Housewives of Orange County premiering in 2006. RHOC is said to be inspired by the endless drama of ABC's Desperate Housewives. The early audience couldn't look away as we were introduced to Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring, five affluent (and extremely dramatic) SoCal housewives. The series was an immediate success, and The Real Housewives of New York (initially named Manhattan Moms) soon followed. Over the course of the next decade, the franchise would expand to include 10 stateside and 12 international series.
For years, fans have been begging Andy Cohen to bring together the big personalities of the Real Housewives franchise. Sure, we've seen some crossovers — RHONY alum Bethenny Frankel often appeared on RHOBH because of her close friendship with Kyle Richards — but for the most part, the women live in very different worlds.
Now the worlds collide.
Last year Bravotv tweeted “If we were to hypothetically strand 7 Housewives on a deserted island and film it, who should we cast? Hypothetically.”
In June 2016, Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer of the franchise as well as the host of its reunion specials, prevoiusly commented about a potential All-Stars edition. We have seen the signs. Now the spinoff is on the way.
