On the latest episode of Obsessed with Brandon Stewart, pop star maker Richy Jackson answered some hard-hitting questions, including how he deals with negative press. Jackson experienced a lot of this recently, being accused of "toxic behavior" by many dancers he has worked with.
When asked about negative press by host Brandon Stewart, Jackson says, "I always say it's about how you respond and sometimes you need to just not say anything at all..."
"...things get blown up, get blown out of proportion, and then you could start the back-and-forth. I always feel like, maybe it's not worth it," he shrugs.
"I don't want the drama. I just want to create," he exclaims.
It was certainly interesting to hear his perspective on the negative press he has received in the last few years. The show then flashes to a clip from his time on Mad House with Abby Lee Miller in which he shares an inspirational moment with the young adult dancers.
The controversy and allegations seem to have blown over mostly by now and he is still working with the industry's top stars.
