Big Brother fans still remember Jozea Flores' explosive personality and unapologetic confidence from Season 18. Dubbed “The Messiah” (by himself, of course), Jozea came in hot—but left the house way too soon for someone with main character energy. And now, thanks to his guest appearance on Obsessed with Brandon Stewart on BTV, we finally know why.

Get this: Jozea wasn't even supposed to be on Big Brother in the first place.

“I was actually cast for another show,” he revealed during the interview. “But it fell through last minute, and they were like, ‘We’re putting you on Big Brother.’” No prep, no heads up, just vibes. While most houseguests go into the game with weeks (sometimes months) to strategize, Jozea got thrown into the lion’s den with zero time to plan.

And if you’ve ever watched Big Brother, you know that game is cutthroat. Backstabbing, lying, secret alliances—it’s all part of the gig. But Jozea? He’s not about that fake life. “I'm too straight to the point,” he said. “I have too much personality..."

That raw honesty might work wonders in real life—or on a show that celebrates big personalities—but in the Big Brother house? That’s basically an eviction sentence. His bold presence and no-BS attitude made him an immediate target. The houseguests didn’t know what to do with him… so they got rid of him.

Honestly, now it all makes sense. Jozea wasn’t bad at the game—he just wasn’t playing the same game everyone else was. He came in real, unfiltered, and full of fire. And sometimes, reality TV just isn’t ready for that kind of authenticity. Ironic, isn't it?

But don’t get it twisted—Jozea’s early exit didn’t dim his light one bit. From MTV’s The Challenge to now being a scene-stealer on BTV, he’s still out here doing what he does best: being bold, being real, and refusing to shrink for anybody. Catch him on the upcoming return of The Getaway Los Angeles (TGLA) only on Brandon TV.

Tune in to his episode of Obsessed now with fellow guest Carly Katz.
